Our Story
JEMS Capital Group is a privately held, family-owned real estate investment firm based in Houston, Texas.
Like many of our investors, we started with a simple goal: build wealth for our family and put our money to work as hard as we do.
We were always curious about investing: where people invest, how they do it, and how some gain access to opportunities others never see. Many of the best deals never reach people outside the right circles. We learned that finding them wasn’t easy, and knowing which ones to trust was even harder.
We started looking into passive income deals and invested in a few ourselves. Soon, we kept hearing the same questions from friends and family: Are there any good deals? Have you found anything?
After a couple of years of studying multifamily investing, and many conversations like these, we built JEMS to find quality opportunities for our family and for the people who trust us. We vet the operators, review the underwriting, and bring our investors into deals and funds that meet our standards.
Every opportunity we share answers the question that started it all: Is this a good deal? If we wouldn’t put our own money, or our mama’s money, into it, we won’t present it to you.
Transparency is our foundation, and our investor relationships are our priority. We communicate consistently, answer questions directly, and stay with our investors from funding to exit.

Johnny Chen

Johnny leads partnerships and marketing at JEMS Capital Group. He builds relationships with experienced operators and fund managers, works directly with investors, and connects them with opportunities that fit their goals.
Johnny is the founder of Johnny Chen Media, a digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, Facebook advertising, and AI-driven marketing. Over his career, he has helped businesses grow through strategies built on measurable results, including taking one client from $300K to $4M in annual revenue. At JEMS, he brings that same disciplined, results-driven approach to building our operator network and investor community.
Johnny holds a degree in marketing from the University of Texas.
Summer Pham
Co-founder, Managing Partner & Investor Relations JEMS Capital Group
Summer leads investor relations at JEMS Capital Group, working directly with investors to understand their goals and guiding them through every step of the investment process, from first conversation to exit. She also oversees investor reporting and communication, so investors always know where their capital stands.
Before co-founding JEMS, Summer built her career in project management at IBM, HP, and PROS Inc., where she oversaw projects of $10 million and $30 million across the e-commerce, retail, and airline industries. That experience shaped how she serves investors: clear communication, rigorous follow-through, and close attention to detail.
Summer holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University.
