Frequently Asked Questions

What is passive multifamily investing?

You invest capital in apartment properties alongside an experienced operator, who handles acquisition, management, and the eventual sale. You receive a share of the cash flow and proceeds without managing the property.

Minimums vary by deal and fund. Many private offerings start at $50,000 to $100,000. We’ll walk you through the terms of each opportunity.

Most multifamily investments hold properties for about three to seven years, and your capital is generally not accessible until the property is sold or refinanced.

It depends on the offering. Many distribute quarterly, and some monthly. Each offering’s terms specify the schedule.

Investors typically receive a Schedule K-1 each year. K-1s often arrive later than other tax forms, so many investors file an extension.
